Spelling for Years 2-6/P3-P7 teaches spelling cumulatively and systematically with deliberate, focusedpractice. It builds upon the teaching strategies and spelling activities from Read Write Inc. Phonics. Each book contains the same story as its corresponding colour Storybook, but includes clear guidance for parents at every step. The Read Write Inc. Spelling Online subscriptionincludes the Extra Practice Zone: over 1,000 activity screens for whole-class practice, focusing on the areas children often find challenging. A Class Login is also available enabling children to do the practice activities at home The support includes parent-friendly notes for the activities at the start of the books to help children to practise the sounds and words they will encounter in the story.

Before you start to teach your child, practise saying the sounds below. These are the sounds we use to speak in English.
