Bizarre Alien Biology: Despite making sure they find alien species with compatible genitalia, this occasionally comes up. Particularly the fish aliens that can generate energy with sex. This is (I think though might be mistaken) the first comic I’ve read from Vault, a publisher I’ve heard a lot of hype for, and while not bad I wasn’t a huge fan. I don’t know if I’ll bother with volume 2 to be honest. It is certainly a way to build an audience . Money Shot has its tenth issue published by Vault Comics last week, with a nit of a "The End" finality to it, though there is no currently scheduled issue to follow. Minutes into the Future: The comic was released in 2019, the events of the comic take place in 2032. Even with the discovery of aliens, Earth hasn't changed that much outside of better tech. Gag Penis: In this case, a Gag Scrotum. The Bokai Elder's balls are each bigger than his head, and can be swung as a weapon. Isaacs’ art is wonderfully unique and dynamic and fits the (consistent yet colorful) tone flawlessly. Russell’s colors are vibrant and stunning and make every panel look gorgeous. And the story Seeley and Beattie write has no right being as compelling as it is. Set in the near future, with the awareness of an advanced alien civilization from outer space, the Earth fails to prove itself worthy of joining the civilised universe, due to hundreds of wars, led by greedy politicians and fumbling to advance technologically. As space travel is ludicrously expensive and largely ignored within an economically crippled America, Christine Ocampo – inventor of the Star Shot Teleportation Device – comes up with a big idea: Chris and her team of scientists will travel to new worlds, engage intimately with local aliens and film their exploits for a jaded populace trying to find something new on the Internet.

Single-Biome Planet: In their efforts to escape Dien Pide, the XXX-Plorers manage to open a portal to a random planet. Unfortunately, they wind up stranded on a miniscule island on Epsilon Erudite 9, a planet that is mostly ocean. Earlier in the year, Playboy Magazine republished the first issue of the sex comedy comic book Money Shotby Tim Seeley, Sarah Beattie, Rebekah Isaacs and Kurt Michael Russell. Casanova Wannabe: Luke Kirk seems overconfident in his abilities as a lover, the alien women he has sex with appearing unsatisfied when he's done with them.But...I think the story sort of skips some important parts. Like, someone invented what's basically a teleporter, someone else invented a universal translator/automatic drone cameraperson, and those aren't like...sale-able technologies? If the description didn't tip you off, this series is very adult and for is mature readers only. You Have Been Warned. Working with the Ex: Christine and Omar used to be in a relationship, and so far they've been cordial but the Money Shot initiative, it's gotten more complicated especially with Christine and Bree starting to see each other. It’s weird and zany and risqué and at least a little crass (an ancient alien priest uses his giant magical testicles to fight an army of evil soldiers at one point; I can’t make this up) but it’s also somehow genuine and sincere and I can’t believe how invested I was in the colorful cast of characters that Tim Seeley, Sarah Beattie, Rebekah Isaacs, and Kurt Michael Russell concocted. This is a comic about sex and poem that’s never exploitative. It approaches its characters and the objectively wild sexuality they exhibit with honesty and sincerity. So, even when things get crazy (and believe me, they do) you’re happy to go along with it because the story took the time to meaningfully develop its characters.

Now, in a time when Fart Jar Girl was hospitalized and it was a news story, there's something very believable about this.This storyline is weird and it sounds fun, doesn’t it? I could definitely see this getting a show somewhere like AdultSwim or FXX. Unfortunately as fun as it sounds I think the execution falls flat.
